Storyline Café. Waiting. Love (2014):

College freshman Si-ying gets a part-time job at “Cafe. Waiting. Love” coffee shop, where she befriends Abusi, a tomboyish barista who can make any coffee the customers request, the beautiful and mysterious cafe owner, and Zeyu, the boy who always sits in the same spot in the cafe who seems to be very popular with girls and on whom Si-ying develops an instant crush.

This movie is silly, weird, candid but tells the story of simple, pure love. I especially like how the romance story of the cafe owner being revealed and the relation with the MCs. As per the title of this movie, all of us are waiting for that someone who can see us the way we are.

Shi Ying, a university freshman who works at a cafe. Here, she meets with A Bu Si, a lesbian who is a professional coffee maker who can make any types of coffee drinks according to customers' order, the shop's proprietress who talks less and loves to be alone and sitting in a constant seat most of the time, and Ze Yu, who was the partner of the shop's female owner.

Cafe.Waiting.Love is based on the book written by Giddens Ko under the pen name, Jiu Ba Dao. The movie’s theme song, 缺口/Gap, is performed by Harlem Yu and was written by Giddens Ko. This is the second movie based on his books after his directorial debut of the popular 2011 Taiwanese film, You Are the Apple of My Eye , that starred Kai Ko and Michelle Chen.
